Suggestions for Simple, Healthy Food

A high speed blender is a wonderful investment if you want a way to make quick soups, smoothies, nut cheeses and sauces among other items. Being able to full blend cooked vegetables, spices and creams (dairy or coconut) is a great way to make soups in a hurry. Having the option of fully mixing soaked chia seeds, hemp seeds, protein powders, nut or dairy milks, sweeteners, fruits and herbs is a great way to save time and have very nourishing drinks. Having a crock pot to cook a full meal without heating up the house with an oven is ideal for summer. It’s a pleasure to come home to a pot of chili, meat and potatoes, soup or stew. My Old Life

I remember when fast food chains, pizza deliveries, sodas, candy and buffets were part of my life. Then came mold. After my major exposure, I just couldn't handle the quick convenience of foods that were full of white sugar and white flour. Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), food colors and dyes were also out. This is not medical advice nor should it be understood as such. In no way do I think I am someone who can give you an absolute answer on what is best for you. I'm not sure any earthly being can do that. These are my thoughts on why I believe individuality is a huge issue when it comes to food choices. Because I don't think any one path is the best one, I have had to use trial and error when it came to what worked for me. By "worked" what I mean is the foods that did not cause me to feel tired, irritable, unmotivated, achy, icky, anxious or depressed AND either caused me to have no change or actually caused me to feel better...
