Suggestions for Simple, Healthy Food

A high speed blender is a wonderful investment if you want a way to make quick soups, smoothies, nut cheeses and sauces among other items. Being able to full blend cooked vegetables, spices and creams (dairy or coconut) is a great way to make soups in a hurry. Having the option of fully mixing soaked chia seeds, hemp seeds, protein powders, nut or dairy milks, sweeteners, fruits and herbs is a great way to save time and have very nourishing drinks.
Having a crock pot to cook a full meal without heating up the house with an oven is ideal for summer. It’s a pleasure to come home to a pot of chili, meat and potatoes, soup or stew. Depending on the settings, you can have it cook overnight or during a full shift at work. It’s also wonderful being able to have leftovers from such a satisfying meal.
Be sure to use real, whole food ingredients which are as close to non-gmo and organic as possible. Taste the difference with pastured eggs and grass fed meats. Organic spices are a nice touch along with replacing table salt with Himalayan or Celtic Sea Salt. Sweeteners to replace processed white sugar include: organic maple syrup, raw, unheated honey, Stevia and high quality monk fruit.
