I remember when fast food chains, pizza deliveries, sodas, candy and buffets were part of my life. Then came mold. After my major exposure, I just couldn't handle the quick convenience of foods that were full of white sugar and white flour. Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), food colors and dyes were also out. It was years before I discovered that I couldn't tolerate products with citric acid, peanut butter, moldy grains and mold that was in coffee and chocolate. I was encouraged to change my eating style and no one told me I could never eat fast food again. My body and brain knew that what I needed to heal was real, whole foods. I learned about fermented foods and found that beet kvass was amazing in taking away sugar cravings. I discovered high altitude coffee and chocolate products and the gifts of pastured eggs and grass fed beef and buffalo.
